Vita Stimpson

Mrs. Vita Stimpson grew up in St. Louis. She accepted the Lord at the age of 8. Vita married soon after high school and she and her husband, John, had five children. She started homeschooling her children and tutoring other students, then went on to teach part-time before accepting a full-time teaching position at Victory. She was the long-time 4th grade teacher at Victory, and now teaches in the middle school. Vita’s daughter Connie was in Victory’s first graduating class in 1985 and her daughter Debbie currently teaches 1st grade!

Vita continues to attend the fellowship at Southside Bible Chapel where she and her husband attended together. After 40 years of marriage, her husband went home to be with the Lord. Still, Vita says she feels “blessed beyond what I deserve having five grown children, three amazing daughter-in-laws, and a super hero of a son-in-law.” She also says she has “the best sister in the world.”

Some of the things Vita loves most are horses, Andrew Lloyd Weber productions (particularly, Phantom of the Opera), American Idol, and Josh Groban music.
