Bible –

Students will study the life of Christ, David, the Parables of Jesus, Esther, Elijah, Elisha, Samuel, and Daniel, as well as the Thanksgiving story, Christmas Story, and Easter. They will have weekly memory verses.

Math –

Students will learn about money, , measurements, and fractions, how to tell temperature, multiplication tables, division tables, how to do long division, and borrowing in subtraction.

Science –

Students will explore God’s world. They will study about themselves, explore plants and animals, take a good look at weather, and explore animal habitats.

Social Studies –

Students will be led through lessons about the daring Captains John Smith and Miles Standish who settled the land; Washington, Franklin, and Jefferson who helped form a new nation; and many others who helped to make America great.

Reading –

Students discover folktales, fantasy, nonfiction and fiction through literature sets and the 3rd grade reading book.

English –

Writing and using proper grammar are a part of the English curriculum. Students will learn everything from the writing process to writing friendly letters and persuasive essays.
